Abstract
Allyl isothiocyanate as an irritant quantified by spectrophotometry after ultrasonic solvent extraction as a preconcentration were studied. For this purpose, the experimental conditions of allyl isothiocyanate need to be reviewed, comparing the extracting organic solvents solubility and extraction efficiency, the change of the maximum absorption wavelength according to extracting organic solvents and ultrasonic solvent extraction time were optimized. Results obtained using the standard sample, optimum extraction organic solvent was dichloromethane, and obtained significant absorbance spectrum by this ultraviolet light/sight lines without interfering which make applying by this method. For ultrasonic solvent extraction time of allyl isothiocyanate was sufficient in 15 minutes. Based on the experimental conditions of reviews, the calibration curve using a series of concentrations of the standard solution was made for quantitative analysis. Finally, determination of Allyl Isothiocyanate and reliable level of results could be obtained by applying this method in the domestic two-party products.
