Abstract
The radiation emitted from atmospheric gas molecules such as oxygen, ozone, and water vapor can be detected as a line spectrum at characteristic frequencies. The detected spectrum ozone at the ground shows broad shape as it is perturbed by collisions with other molecules. In addition, the spectrum shape is affected by temperature, pressure and gas concentration. In this paper, we studied the temperature effect on the spectrum shape of ozone detected at the ground by modifying temperature profile values. The forward calculation is performed by the atmospheric radiative transfer simulator program with the fast atmospheric signature code atmospheric database.
Key Words: 110 GHz ozone spectrum, atmospheric temperature, microwave, atmospheric radiative transfer
